Now, what do I do with these brows again?

Updated: Mar 27, 2023

Hey there, now that your appointment is over - congrats! - here are some aftercare instructions to help you make sure you get the most out of your fresh new brows:

- It's still normal to have some redness, itching and swelling for a few days post-microblading. Just take it easy and don't pick at or rub the area if it starts to itch!

-Brows may appear darker for the first few days after your session. Brow shock is a real thing! Not to worry, its all a part of the process.

- A gentle cleanse with your Omen + Onyx ink wash, (not bath, no soaking) every day twice a day for 7-10 days should do the trick. Make sure you gently pat (not rub) the area dry.

- For the first 10 days, do not: use harsh chemicals or soaps around the area, wax, tint, tweeze, get any other kind of tattoo, have any laser treatments, go swimming, use a sauna, or have any other procedures done around the area. No Harsh exercise for 48 hours, and no sweating on your new brows for 7 days!

-FOR MICROBLADING - After day 3, if they are so itchy you absolutely can NOT stand it, you can use ONE dip of your Omen + Onyx aftercare ointment per brow after washing. But remember, the drier you can keep your brows while healing, the better your healed results you will have!

- FOR MACHINE BROWS - After day 3, apply ONE dip per brow of your Omen + Onyx aftercare ointment per brow after washing, twice a day. You may continue this until the scabs fall off.

-After that peeling and scabbing is over, prepare for things to get weird. It is SUPER common for them to look much lighter, like, almost gone lighter. DO NOT PANIC! During the healing process the new skin can put a “veil” over the pigment. This will disappear, and the color will reappear before your touch up appointment.

-Make sure to keep that 6-8 touch up if this is your first session that way we can replace any lost pigment, and get your brows PERFECT!

- Sunscreen SPF 30+ and a hat when outdoors can help your results last longer.

And lastly, don't forget to take a selfie and tag us so we can see your transformation!

Follow these instructions, and you'll be good as new and ready to enjoy your new brows in no time.
